Paper 2 Examples
Introduction to Paper 2 Examples
The Examples provide you with an opportunity to compare your marking with that of SQA's marking team. There are one or more examples for each theme in Modern Studies Higher Paper 2. The examples can be accessed by selecting the theme from the index on the right-hand side.
The Examples use PDF files and require either the Adobe Acrobat Reader plug-in or if you are using a Mac, the OS X Schubert pdf viewer. If you do not have the appropriate plug-in you can click on the logo at the bottom of this page to download it.
When you open an Example, tabs will appear which allow you to move between:
- The question which the candidate is answering.
- The Marking Instructions for the question concerned.
- The photostat of the candidate response.
The Enlarge tab opens the currently selected tab in a new window allowing you to view the tab on the full screen for more detail.
You may wish to print off files for convenience.
When you have completed the task press Submit.
When you submit your marks the screen will change allowing you to see how the candidate response was rated by an experienced senior examiner. You can try the Example again by pressing Reset.
